PCI Express graphics question in relation to AGP and the "aperture".

Is there something comparable with PCI-E graphics? I imagine the answer is "yes" but I've heard nothing about this. It would seem to me that without that extra, off card RAM for the video to cache to PEG wouldn't last long against a comparable AGP solution.

on my ABIT AA8 i'm using for testing there is no "Aperature" setting in the BIOS for PCI-E

of course it can texture out to system ram still, PEG16X is much faster in bandwidth to system memory than AGP8X is

Bandwidth of PCIE vs AGP is not an issue...PCIE should be faster no matter what.

But with AGP you can set a specifc amount of RAM aside for GART (??) functions to cache to RAM. How does this work with PCIE?
