PCI Question - NOT PCI-E

A friend of mine has a Dell with integrated AGP video. He's looking for better performance out of a program called Real Flight R/C Flight Simulator G3; it's a simulator for flying remote control planes.

The requirements for the game are:
CPU: 1.0GHz or higher.
System: 256 MB RAM (minimum) and 1GB (optimum).
Video: 32MB RAM (minimum) and 64MB (optimum) and DirectX 9.

I believe his only option is to disable the integrated AGP and install a PCI card. I'm not very familiar with PCI cards because when I got into computers about 6-7 years ago I started out with AGP. I didn't even know they still made PCI video cards.

We're considering a GF FX5200 (Core 250MHz and 128MB @ 333MHz). Will this card be able to play the simulator program smoothly taking full advantage of all features?

You may not be able to disable the on board video , some Dells dont allow it

If the integrated video can not be disabled via the BIOS will the PCI card work if we only disable the integrated drivers in windows and install the drivers for the new PCI card?

You don't have to disable it. Windows XP supports having Multiple Video cards. So disabling it may not be necessary. In the BIOS you might be able to disable it, or you can at least change the graphics adapter priority. That will ensure that when the system boots, it uses the PCI card first.
