I have an antec smart power 450w (from antec sonata 2 case) with an evga geforce 7800GT pcie video card.
The 6pin psu cable marked pcie connector looks very similar to the connector on the 7800gt except one of the pins housings is shaped differently ( I believe its the middle pin on the clip side).
Are there two different standards for pcie power cables? There is an adapter plug that comes with the 7800gt but it splits into two 4 pin molex plugs. Is there a way I can convert the psu connector with the adapter's male plug to fit the 7800gt plug.
Thanks
