I need to temporarily change my agp card to an old pci based card (diamond moster 3d 2). problem is, the computer beeps on boot and the screen dont get signal. I dont think the m3d is malfunctioning - I suspect the computer is just waiting for a card in the AGP slot, and beeps because there is none. do i need to somehow tell it the card is in the PCI slot, and if so, how do i do that?
 
Was not that monster card a 3d only "voodo card" ? That could be your problem
