What are people's opinion of the lian li pc v-1000?
I will be having an SLI setup, so very hot, is the cooling good?
do those holes allow dust to pump in?
what is the noise like?
finally, is it possible to buy a window with a fan on the side pumping air in for this case?

these cases only have two 120mm case fans but in all reality, the case compartment itself where the motherboard is only has one 120mm fan. the fan is designed to be pulling the cool air from the small holes in front of the case across everything and thus exiting it through the back of the case. the other 120mm fan is located in front of the case thats totally seperated from the main part of the case. the idea is to suck air from the front of the case and then pushing the air across the hard drive(s) and exiting down on the bottom of the case where there's also lots and lots of tiny little holes. its a well designed system. I actually dropped my front 120mm's voltage down to 7V just to have it dead silent. you dont need large amounts of airflow going through the hard drive compartment anyway. just enough to provide some ventilation for the hard drive.

unfortunately, yes. all those little tiny holes provide lots and lots of places for hot air to escape from the case but at the same time, they also provide lots of places where dust can get sucked in much easier that say a regular case that doesnt have all those tiny openings. so its kind of a good/bad tradeoff.

the two 120mm fans are pretty quiet. I cant even hear them over my CPU's fan.

this place has a panel with a window installed already. so I guess you could cut into the window and install another fan which IMO would look cheap and ugly. but hey, thats just my opinion.
 
agreed, the holes take in dust, but get a can of air and you're ok.

The cooling should be sufficient without the side window fan. As far as I know, they don't make a side panel w/ window and fan. Of course the ATI silencer 4 I use expels hot air from the case, so if the card cooling solution you have doesn't do that, you may experience a little higher temps, but still reasonable.
 
I love the style of the case a lot, Newegg has the PCV1000B-W, with the window already, Here . I plan on getting that eventually
