Hi All,
I have an ATI Firestream 9250 connected to a Vizio LED tv and everything except for videos run fine. Something about watching videos (be it SD or HD @ 1080p) makes it feel like I'm watching a daytime drama with movement being really smooth and simply bizarre. My tv has the option to turn off smoothness but only in tv mode, not in PC mode. The tv's manual recommends changing my resolution settings to VESA 1920x1080 but this is not an option in my video card settings. I've played around with the resolutions that the video card recognizes as options, namely 50, 59 and 60Hz. I've tried all three with 50Hz being closest to what I expect my videos to look like but is noticeably jerky for the same reason.
Any ideas on how this can be resolved? I've done some searching but very little's come up from my search queries (here and google).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
S.
