We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Do we still have an admin for the PC Gaming forum? In the past week I've seen some threads go woefully off track, and they continue to do so.

It's amusing, don't get me wrong. But it just seems like things may be getting a bit out of control over there. Console Gaming is even worse. =O

Love.

What? You do not like talking about cars?
It has gone off track, but there have been attempts to go back to the original topic, but met with failure.

We have 5 moderators in that forum, but it is extremely busy and not covered 24/7. If you see a problem, use the report a thread button or PM the mods for help.

Duck, spugnor, Rich Tate, TechHead, Slartibartfast

Well I count 5 off topic threads locked since this one was created.

Normalness is returning. :p

haha. I noticed that too.

But could you to me a favor and tell Slarti to start locking threads with his usual comic flare? He's been having writers block lately, and thus, not making me laugh anymore. This must be corrected post-haste.

As stated the best way to get our attention is to simply Report the off topic thread.

Feel free to PM as well and we'll come running.

If you guys need some assistance with moderation, I'd be happy to help.

Sorry I've been rather MIA lately - things have been hectic with grad school and a new job.

Rich makes a good point, though: reporting posts is by far the best way to get somebody to look at a thread. There's simply no way we could read every single post. Oftentimes a thread will be perfectly fine, only to go straight to hell 8 hours later.

Much thanks to Rich for picking up my slack
