I have successfully troubleshooted, tht my PC case power switch had gone bad. Now the problem is, I simply cant pull & replace the switch and am not able to make out how can I replace it hence, I request you folks to have a look at the pic and guide me.

PS: The power cable tht is connected to the switch is blue & white. The case is Thermaltake Armor MX+ and i have put Red Arrow, above which rests the power switch.

Replace the switch.

This is a common Bulgin style switch.
The switch is removed after cutting the wires, then the existing wires are soldered in place.

You just need to order the correct diameter top.:D

You will need to pull the top panel off, it looks to be screwed in place......if they just used rivets, you'll need to drill those out to remove the panel, replace the switch, then use rivets or bolts to re-fasten the panel.

That has to be the dirtiest case I've seen in a long time......I wouldn't replace the switch, I'd replace the case.

To replace just the switch as you have linked, you are going to need to disassemble the front shroud on your case.......ie that big piece of plastic that houses the switch.

From the picture it is most likely riveted to the framework.

To get it apart you will need to remove every visible rivet.
To remove rivets, you need a drill and a 1/8 inch metal drill bit.
You place the bit on top of the rivet and drill it out from its place......its really easy.

Once you have replaced the switch, youll need to replace the shroud by re-riveting.

Youll need a manual rivet gun for that and some 1/8 inch rivets.

Alternatively.......
just buy the replacement, attach it to the MB header and run the wire and switch out the door of the case, bypassing the broken switch altogether.

Thx for the responses - Fixing the issue was a little difficult and hence i had took the power wire and ran it outside the front... it was a quick, easy & better solution.
