PATA and SATA?

I built my system when SATA was relatively new but I decided to go PATA anyways. I have a 200GB HDD as my OS drive and I was wondering if there would be any conflicts adding a 2nd drive in SATAII. Is there anything in particular that I should keep in mind if I decide to do this?

Nope. It should Just Work. Remember to use only one power connector for the new drive, and check out my price-per-GB table for the best deals.

Should the cable be plugged into SATA0 or SATA1 if it were to be the slave drive with my IDE as the master?

With no other SATA drives it doesnt matter but for correctness sake, plug it into 0.

There is no slave/master between SATA/PATA drives.
The boot order is set in the CMOS.
