Pagefile on a Ramdisk?

So it appears that even with absurd amounts of memory, Windows and certain applications still require a pagefile. I was wondering if allocating 1GB of 4GB total memory to a Ramdisk, and then dropping the pagefile in there would increase performance at all?
 
Simple answer: Yes.

How much? Depends..I'll let someone else answer that. Personally, I noticed a pretty healthy overall system performance increase by putting my pagefile on a second 5400 disk few years ago.
