There are TONS of SMP projects that make 50K-80K ppd on my 3930K. With so many people (not necessarily here) bitching about the bigadv points in one way or another, it seems they are just glossing right over the high ppd SMP projects. Seems like these WU's come a lot with the v7 client, at least on my fast boxes.

They're not the norm, you get a day or so of them, but then you get 2 or 3 days of crappy WUs that give you half the PPD.
 
Seems to depend on the speed of the box. I have 6 v7 clients, 3 on ~slow procs (core 2, phenom 1, etc) 3 on fast (4+Ghz i7's). The fast boxes seem to be getting mostly good ppd wu's.
