I've just rebuilt my pc and am now encountering various issues.
I can't get the sata ports to be plug and play/recognize drives. I currently am using slots E1 and E2, and also slots 1 and 2. These devices are powered on bootup. I plugged in 3 additional sata cables that go directly to hdd's mounted outside my case. I turn these on and do not see them come up. I figured I need a driver and went to Asus. Their driver fails when attempting to install, saying I do not meet minimum requirements.
win7 64bit
4gb ram
e7200 clocked to 3.8 STABLE before this board.
Also, I tried setting sata configs in bios to AHCI instead of IDE. Doing this crashes my pc, giving me blue screens, oc failure, and reboot loops. Not sure why this happens.
