If you're buying new today, I think everyone here would say go with the P5K Deluxe.
If you already have a P5W, there really is no reason to upgrade right away. By the time the 45nm processors come out, there will also be the X38 chipset, which should be superior to the P35.
Hi folks, STILL haven't got my system yet. Still planning on getting the q6600 and 8800gtx although I may wait another couple of months to see if the 9 series is released.
What I'm wondering is assuming I'm still going to use the q6600 and 8800gtx and PC6400 memory, is the p5k still the best mobo for my needs?
I don't plan to upgrade this system, it will most likely remain as it is bought for it's whole life.
