I am helping a friend troubleshoot a heat problem with a SFF case and a P4 D. Anyway, I remember something about a little program that could detect if your P4 was engaging in thermal throttling. I looked around but can’t find it!! Anyone know about this program and where to get it.

Oh, and it runs about 85C load. It is because there is only one case fan (120MM) and it is using the stock intel cooler. I want him to install a much larger cooler, but that would require cutting one of the support beams inside the case. I love playing with the Dremmel, but he is weary about cutting up his brand new system.

Thats a little hot I think my 550 shuts itself down at 70C or 75 and I only load at 65C (with orthos) and this in on stock air.
