Would someone please remind me what advantages "J"-type CPUs have over others?

Execute-disable bit. It's a form of hardware anti-virus that Windows XP SP2 can activate.

It's not exactly something you'd throw away anti virus software for, though.

"j" also has C1E which is a type of thermal throttleing, that drops your multi to 14x and your voltage by .1 During idle time/lower usage time. ALL J chips are E0 stepping, i have a 3.2j and i can get like 4.3 easy with my AS8 around 1.55v, water cooled. They also have crappy 64-bit extensions, and XD like he said^
