Overclocking question, using pin-mod

My motherboard doesn't have voltage control and clock multiplier control, and I just bought a mobile 2400. Everytime it boots, it was very lows so I used the pinmod to set the multiplier.

Now it says this
Please cut all L11 bridges if you like to select a Vcore with the Pin-Mod guide,
otherwise you're just able to build a higher Vcore depending to the actual L11 bridge
and Pin-Mod combinations.

And you have to cut the L12 bridges if you like to select a lower FSB,
otherwise it's only possible to select a higher FSB

Does this mean I have to cute the L11 bridges IF I want to select a lower vcore than default? I can I just use a higher vcore without cut the bridges right? I just want to make sure before I do this.
