I just recieved my xp-90(finally) and im anxious to begin overclocking.
I am a little experieced in overclocking but from guides which do not explain well
the questions i am going to ask. Please be so kind as to answer them

My DDram Configuration: (tell me what change)

Max Mem Clock = 100,133,166,200 (i am planning to go up to 2.8 so 133 i'd imagine)
1T/2T = 1T, 2T
Cas# latency = 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 ( never understood it no matter how many times i read it)
Ras# to Cas# = 2 to 7
Min RAS# active time = 5 to 15
Row Precentage = 2 to 6

That was the hard part, now i have small qestions about these configs and which should i increase for the processor and by how much:

Adjust cpu Vid: 1.500v to -/+
Cpu Voltage = Over 3.3% , 5.0% and higer but those are in the reds
Mem Voltage = 2.50, 2.55 .....etc
Agp voltage = 1.50v ( i am not overclocking the video card so leave it)

also there is AGP Frequency which idk what it is if anyone be so kind as to answer..

Thanks for all the help and making overclocker outta me.

p.s don't mind if this thread is posted on other brother websites...

2.8eh? Thats pretty ambitious... Why dont we start with small steps... That would be a FSB of about 312Mhz, which I havent seen ANYONE do on a MSI board without mods.....

That memory should default to 2-2-2-X (Manually set TRAS to 9)

Set your Divider at 133

See how far your procesor can go.... THEN lets talk about the memory some more.

Dont go past 1.65 or so with your CPU Voltage

Set AGP to 67. Thats you AGP/PCI Lock. Makes sure you dont end up overclocing your PCI bus by accident

Yes 2.8 idk why it sounds like a surprise, this man http://www.ocforums.com/showpost.php?p=3408613
has almost same setup as me.. i know its not same as everyone but i have run stable at 2.6
with stock cooling without the knowledge of Ram or voltage tweaking..

also which part do i change?
Adjust cpu Vid: OR Cpu Voltage :

because cpu voltage has only % options.

I dont know the exact configuration on the MSI VOltage adjustments, but if its like my DFI, you set the Voltage first, then the second control is to add the Percentage to the voltage setting.. so if your voltage setting go up to 1.55 and you add 3.3% you'll be at 1.6v

Do you have the Date/Stepping codes from your CPU?

All the numbers that are on the Processors IHS....

It makes a difference in OVerclocking...

my ambition is still going Impaqt..

i have to check for stability and it seems like hot air is blowing from my psu, i need to place a new fan on it
