Overclocking Q6600

I have no idea where to start.

I have my system stable with everything at stock and the CPU (Q6600) idling at around 33 degrees C and 42 under load.

This gives me plenty of room to play with, right? Whats the maximum temperature I shouldn't go above?

Now, how do I go about overclocking?

I can just raise the FSB but is that really the right way to go?

Is there a guide on this?

Step 3: Use the Search button at the top of the forum.
Step 4: Read, read, read, read, read, read, experiment, read, read.
Step 5: Ask questions.
