I am currently trying to overclock my E6600 to 3.6GHz. It will boot windows fine but when i run Orthos. It will happily run along for about 1/2 hour then the system will suddenly reboot. Any suggestions on what is causing me the trouble?

RAM?
Processor?
Motherboard?

My settings are as follows.
Processor : E6600 @ 400 x 8 (1.5625V in bios, 1.48V in asusprobe)
MB : ASUS P5B-Deluxe (711 BIOS, 1.65 Vmch, max FSB termination, NB fan added)
RAM : Corsair XMS6400 5-5-5-12 @ (400Mhz, 2.1V)
Heatsink : Thermal Right Ultra 120 w/ Delta EFB1212SHE (3700rpm)
Power: Antec NeoHE 500W
Video: X1800XT 256MB

I would try a little more voltage to your CPU. If that doesn't do it, then your processor wasn't made for 3.6ghz
