overclocking p4 2.4c

LOL... gotta love n00b questions. Umm... any specs? Motherboard? Memory? HSF? How n00b are you anyways?
 
Most of the time you will be able to OC that CPU pretty well. I have my 2.4C running at 3.0GHZ at stock VCore, Prime95 stable and a Aquamark CPU score of 10,000+

What you might want to do is to post your system specs to see if you have the correct hardware for overclocking.

if we knew your motherboard and cooling type, that would help alot. but im going to make alot of assumptions in saying this....

go into your bios, set your fsb to 250, and your ram ratio to 5:4....viola you have 3ghz. go download prime95 and run torture test for a day or so and come back and tell us if its stable or not
