Overclocking Opteron S939 help

First, at least copy and paste your original post over here.

Second, most people I've seen on slickdeals have no clue when it comes to things like this.

Without being able to see those screenshots, your overclock sounds fine. You should be able to set your ram up one more notch to the 200 setting and it will still be just below stock speeds.

Download a program called Prime95, and run a torture test. Let it run for several hours and keep an eye on the temps.

If your overclock isn't stable, Prime95 will come back with errors. At that point you can reduce your FSB little by little, or increase your core voltage.

I saw a reply saying to lower your voltage, what is it set at right now?

Sorry I thought you could see the screenshots without registering... anyways

My voltage was on Auto, so it was up to 1.59 - 1.61, so I turn Auto "off" and now its at 1.50 stready. My machine hiccuped but its back working, and my system is now running at 260 FSB ( I brought it down a bit to start ). It's running at 35C at idle and about 43C under load. I'll run Prime95 tonight, and will put the RAM back up to 200 next reboot
