Hello, as the thread stated I am an overclocking newb. I used an overclocking guide and changed the fbs of my 2.53 from 333 to 350. Everything worked fine, my computer preformed at 2.85 ghz opposed to 2.53ghz and the temperature only changed 1 or 2 Degrees C. The current temperature of my cpu is 50 degrees. Is it safe to keep my computer working at this preformance and heat?

try doing the most CPU intensive thing you are going to do.

if it doesnt crash, it's just fine.

Coyote,

Yep 50C is OK. What proc. are you running? Intel/AMD? Check your BIOS for an update, because mine needed it. It report 8C to 10C lower.

Nice OC for your first time. I did a similar one from 2.0 to 2.25

Cheers,
