I have the following Primary PC.

MB NFORCE2 A7N8X-VM/400 ASUS
AMD 2600+ 333 FSB
2x512 MB PC 3200 (don't know CAS ratings)
Saphire 9800 Pro 128mb
120 GB WD IDE with 8mb cache
ANTEC TRUE POWER 380 watt PS

52x CD Reader
52x CD Writer
8x DVD Writer

I'm a noob at overclocking. I have a good volcano HS and fan on the CPU, runs at 40-44 degrees celsius under full loads.

I really have three questions. I downloaded ATI tool and actually overclocked my new 9800pro to 415 cpu mghz and 380 memory (x2=760) mghz. That got my 3dmark03 from 5450 to 6000 and no crashes after many hours of MOH playing at full resolution with all the eye candy turned on.

Question 1? How much more can I overclock the vid card safely?

Second Question.

My CPU. Everytime I try to overclock more than an extra 50-75 mhz or so, i get crashes and lockups of the computer.

Can I get some advice on the multiplier settings that would be most stable on this rig? I have my volcano CPU fan on low getting 40-44 degrees. I can turn it up significantly if I need to up the voltages to get stability. I just don't want to burn out my chip and don't know what's possible.

Right now I am running the voltage at 1.65 at the CPU at 10x210 for 2100 mhz. Every time I push it much higher than that it crashes. I've NOT played with voltage settings besides going to 1.75.

Third Part. I know nothing about overclocking the RAM. Any advice would be welcome on that.

Any advice or things to try would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

1) impossible to say how much higher you could go, find out yourself until you see artifacts and such

2)you'll need to up volts for higher stability (to push past extra 50mhz) - as long as your temps don't go past 50C load, and you stay under 1.9vcore, you should be fine (you might want to get a better hsf tho, like the thermalright 900A - http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=35-109-011&depa=0 - and a good fan, something in the 50CFM range)

3) you oc ram by upping the FSB (and using tighter timings), i wouldn't OC ram too much, but i don't have much experience with this, maybe someone else could help you
