I've never overclocked before and I'm building a new PC coming from 12 years on a mac. Here are the specs:

Case: NCase M1
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9S 46.4 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus Z170I PRO GAMING Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: Samsung 950 PRO 512GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Founders Edition Video Card
Power Supply: Silverstone 600W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Silverstone SOD02B DVD/CD Writer
Case Fan: Noctua NF-S12A PWM 120mm Fan
Case Fan: Noctua NF-A9 PWM 46.4 CFM 92mm Fan
Monitor: Asus PG279Q ROG Swift 27.0" 165Hz Monitor

I plan on using adobe lightroom and adobe photoshop mostly, but I will also be doing some light gaming (star wars battlefront and maybe the new Doom). With a mitx build in a case this small, what is a good overclock that should be stable with this cpu/cooler setup? I've seen people go as high as 4.6Ghz. Would that be a safe limit?

As for the actual overclock, I assume you don't just go to the bios and set the clock speed. anyone have a FAQ or newbie guide for overclocking on a ASUS Motherboard?
