I have a 1 Gig TwinX pair (2 X 512) that I would like to overclock on my system:

I'm wondering about the timings of RAM and the voltage applied to it. I'm new to Overclocking, and am wondering whether or not the timings displayed on newegg for this RAM is what it automatically goes to, if I have to change something to get it to run at these speeds, or what (I had heard that many times you need to change the timings because they are too aggressive to be set there by default). Where do I need to go to change these things in the BIOS? If I am not overclocking anything else, is overclocking the RAM going to help anything at all? Is it dangerous to overclock the RAM? Any other suggestions?
