Overclocking celerons

Me and a friend of mine decided that it would be really cool to overclock a celeron as much as physically possible.

We don't have a lot of money and we are cheap ass bastards. I'm hoping that it would be possible to set up *a* computer for under $150. Basically the only thing the machine needs to be able to do is boot up. I plan using Fedora Linux as the operating system for the machine.

So after all that ? ANy tips ? COmments ? Suggestions ?

yeah everything would have to be cheap ass. I will have to look towards ebay for a lot of my components. I could even probably steel the processor if I needed to.

I'm wondering if its ethical to overclock processors until they fry ?

Oh well. Its too bad I don't have more money to experiment with this sort of stuff.

celerons are really good overclockers i got my 2.4 up to 3.7 bootable and 3.5 in windows stable and it was still really slow.

I don't really like intel at all. But I think it would just be fun to fuck one up in the name of computer education.
