I guess this topic has been covered before but I did a search, couldn't find what I wanted.

I have an AMD XP-M 2500+ currently at 9.5x200, 1.45v. I tried 10.0x200 @ 1.475v, 1.50v but the comp won't post.

So Im wondering how far did you guys go?

I know my crappy KVR is the bottleneck but has anyone managed to do higher than 1.9GHz with my type of ram?

I tried 15.0x166 it worked! I went away for ~15min and left it to fold. When I came back the thing froze. :mad: :confused:

oh and my ram timings are 3-3-3-8
 
I noticed that the board your using is the Abit NF7-S, just like mine. For the longest time I had a problem whenever I would go with a multiplier of 10 and any FSB above 200. The thing wouldnt boot. Checking out other forums I found that this board won't post at a 10 multi at all. The only thing to do is try at 11 and higher multis. This means that you need decent ram. Something that also might help is a bios flash. Do at your own risk. I use this custom one
