Hey guys, I've had my computer for just under a year, and I'd basically given up messing with the settings because of my temps. I'm having issues finding any reliable information on my processor.

At 2.8, with 1.3v my idle temps are in the mid 40's, which seems high, and my loaded temps were pushing up past 61c but I am using stock cooling. The room temp in that room of my house is like 82f, I don't know if I'm just stuck unless I get some water cooling or possibly a greater air cooler. I tried an aftermarket air cooler, Hyper TX2 and idle dropped about 3 degrees, but loaded remained ~60.

Is this processor just hot by nature, should I try dropping the voltage down? I've already got 2 120mm fans and 3 80's.

Any thoughts?

Thanks guys.

61C isn't hot. You shouldn't need to worry until you're in the upper 70's at least.
