Overclocking 6800GS

I ran 3Dmark06 at stock speeds 485/1100mhz with my XFX 6800 GS and scored 2503. I decided that I wanted to see what score I could reach overlocking the GPU a little. I overclocked the 6800 GS up to 525/1180mhz and ran 3Dmark06 only to get a score of 2505. I only gained 2 points after overclocking? I am new to overclocking my system and I am wondering if their is a bottleneck in my system that is not allowing the full performance of my 6800 GS???

System Specs: AMD 3500 at 2.2ghz, Abit AN8, XFX 6800 GS 525/1180mhz, 1gig Corair XMS at 2-3-3-6, 80gb WDHD, and an Antec 500w Smartpower 2.0 PS.

If you are using coolbits make sure you clicked "test settings" then "apply" otherwise you may not have set the clocks. It happened to me.

Thats what it sounds like to me...

a 35MHz increase on the core with no artifacting will show way more of a gain than 2 points.
