Ok, Im interested in overclocking my Athlon XP 2400+ @ 2.0Ghz. How is that done, do they make an app that makes overclocking easy? Also how much can get out of it? I looking to get at least 2.2Ghz from it.

Now if I do overclock it, how much risk is there to fry my cpu? Do I have to add extra cooling? I have good airflow through my case and I have 4 case fans.

Any help would be great! :D
 
Well i have Pc2100 Ram and u hAve PC2700ram. I've Oced my 2400+ to a 2.18 without raising My Muliplaier just my FSB. Well first do a 150 FSB x 15 Multiplier at 1.75 VCORE and see if it stable. Then keep raising your FSB until u find our max. After you do that come back.
