Been reading a lot on the site and starting my first OC. Having some trouble.
Mobo NFORCE 680i LT SLI
Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz
Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme
2x 1 GB OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 SLI-Ready Edition
EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 640MB
2x Seagate Barracuda 320GB 7200 RPM Raid 0
These are my current stable settings
I was able to get a 3 GHz over clock with a 333.33 fsb 9x multiplier before i started to OC my ram. I looked it up online and found it to be 4-4-4-15 T1 with voltage 2.1 (http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_ddr2_pc2_6400_sli_ready_edition_dual_channel) but after setting my ram to those settings i cannot boot to windows. My ram is now set to 5-5-5-15 T2 1.9 volts. i have heard of people haveing trouble with the 680i chip set and OCing. I have also updated the bios to latest version. Any help to achieve my once great 3GHz over clock and getting my Ram to stock settings would be great. Also could someone explain the SLI enabled ram. Thanks in advance.
