Looks cool, but that's not what it really is. Even a reformat didn't fix it, and everythings fine in the BIOS.

I mean, of course it IS possible, with the stock cooler and generic memory I'm using. :rolleyes:

And what is it REALLY set to? I recommend you grab a copy of the DFI "Bootable Bios" CD (you can boot to it, reflash, then reboot and load default - shut down, unplug, clear cmos and hit power a few times, then plug back in and start up - load defaults again then config as per usual).

I was having some bios screwiness and had that method recommended to me (the power down, clear cmos, reload defaults twice, hit power to discharge caps, etc) when I was having wierd bios related issues - and it worked.

edit - for that matter, what bios are you currently using? 414 and newer are the ones with updated venice support, but anything previous may very well both hinder overclockability as well as give wierd results. I notice you've peaked at 2.4ghz - which you might be able to extend a bit if you're currently running an older bios and can update.
 
I forget the exact version, [because I am formatting the PC for the fourth time since Sat], but it's the latest one for my board, that I got off the DFI site.

Since my computers acting screwy.. I'm keeping it at 200*10, so technically, it's doubling everything. I've also got the chip to 2.7GHz, but had to take that down, because I had to remove one stick of memory, due to random BSOD's (They had different default timings).

I will do what you said.. maybe it has to do something with why my comps so screwy.
 
yea.... that definitely sounds like a bios problem.

that, or that is one of the most amazing OC's i have ever seen :D
 
Yeah, I wish. It would be the best OC I've ever done, lol. Doubling a processors power by 100% would be quite a record.

I ended up reflashing, and that didn't help. I didn't clear the CMOS though.. so I'll try that in a few minutes.
 
Follow the link in my sig, the one from DFI's site (last official) is 310 where as the newest version is the 510.
 
Sweet, clearing the CMOS worked! It also fixed the problems I was experiencing, so thanks a ton!

I will download that update through your sig as well.
