Hey everyone. I have a question for anyone who can help. I own a small collection of these original Razer Diamondback mice - the originals, not the 3G version (which had much stigma that they were worse than the original). I absolutely love them, along with my original Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro haha. I'm just finishing up my portrait eyefinity setup with 3x 144hz Asus VG248QE monitors, which will be running in Lightboost powered by either two or three MSI 290x Lightning's when they come out. I saw a post on another forum by the BlurBusters guy (mdrejhon) - in relations to the extreme importance of having a 1000hz mouse while gaming in Lightboost. Now, I believe that these Diamondback's run at 125hz native - long story short, I'm wondering if it's necessary and or possible to crank these things up to 1000hz on Windows 7?

Here is a post I saw about overriding the 125hz native on the Diamondback's to 1000hz - but unfortunately it is only for Windows XP as it was written back in '06. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=41584

Thank you so much to anyone who can help!! Right now I'm just using a 9800GTX+/single monitor/no lightboost and playing my all-time favorite game, Counter-Strike Source so it's not as crucial - but as soon as those MSI Lightning 290x's come out, I need to start getting everything in order and this is one of the things on my list. Thanks again guys!
