Ordered a Dell 3007WFP...

I originally ordered a ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 512 MB AGP since it said "dual link DVI" which I had assumed that will work with the 3007WFP. But, I'm not sure. So, I ordered a ATI Radeon X1950PRO 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP which has two DVI ports which I believe the 3007WFP need to do 2056x1600. Am I'm correct?

Also, what is the difference between 3007WFP and 3007WFP-HC? I thought they are the monitor?

"Dual link DVI" uses a single connector, but activates an additional 9 data pins (which are unused normally) for a second link.

The difference between the WFP and WFP-HC is the HC uses an improved panel/backlight which gives better color reproduction, contrast and response time. (not that you'll be disappointed with either unless you have them side by side)

Ahh! Okay. So, either card will work. Still doesn't hurt to have a dual DVI port on the X1950PRO. That just mean I can order another 3007WFP to do dual monitor.
