yea 260x10 htt at 3x and ram running 172mhz( stock is 200mhz) is not prime stable(one core failed in 5 hours 30 min) with large FFT, but will pass small FFT for 15 hours. my ram is 2x 1 gigs sticks of ocz plat. could my ram suck that much and yes i know i should run memtest, is there any programs that run in windows that are as good as memtest?

if ur ram wont run at stock speeds and pass through memtest, im pretty sure its defective
btw, have u tried upping the voltage? i know optys run high speeds at low voltage but theres a certain limit btw, those plats shud be able to handle that htt if u give enough voltage, find the right timings and what not..just run through a few loops of memtest and make sure they arent defective
