optimized sound card drivers

anybody know if there are any modified Audigy sound card driver sets out there sort of like the Omega and DNA drivers for video cards?

it would be nice to have a sort of Omega driver set for Creative Audigy sound cards that optimize and tweak the drivers to get the best possible performance out of them

The only ones I know of are the KX drivers: http://kxproject.lugosoft.com/intro.php
They do improve sound quality slightly, but do not support positional audio (EAX)

thanks for the info....these KX drivers look interesting...have you tried them out?...do these perform better then the official Creative drivers?....I didn't see anything on their website about the drivers not supporting EAX, are you sure about that?...that would be a big negative if they don't

Yeah, I tried them once. They are quite advanced, and give you tons of options, kinda like the EMU cards. I wouldnt say these are made with games in mind, they were mainly designed for recording people.. When I used them there was no EAX support at all, now their issues section says "EAX/EAX2.0/EAX3.0 not fully supported." I do know they are working on it, although not sure how far they have gotten.
