I finally got around to tearing down my Lian Li PC-Q25B system to see how everything fit in my latest OpenBeam layout. Looks like everything fits nicely :)

I just need to finalize the motherboard standoff holes, and make some slots in the motherboard for the videocard PCIe brackets to seat into. And of course need some panels.

Outside dimensions are 13" x 9.5" x 6" (12.1 liters)

Looks nice. Are you going to make side panels for it?
Yeah, soon as I make sure everything works well in this configuration.

I just got the parts in... but have to take them back out soon to fix one of the motherboard standoffs (the threads broke off in the aluminum backplate I made).

The CPU fan exhausts up, the PSU does as well. The front fan is intake - blows cool air into the GPU intake and along the back of it. And the side fan near the CPU will be another intake (it's not installed yet - need a Y splitter).

Yeah, they are pretty cool. Sorta like legos for adults :) I haven't had to make any cuts to any of the beams. I've just used the precut lengths that came with the kit. I might take off about 1/8 on each of the longest beams (used in my case)... but I might just leave it out of fear of screwing them up. It would be a lot easier if I had a band saw to make perfect cuts. I could only find 12" by 12" (1/8" thick) sheets of aluminum, so one of the beams across the back, holding the aluminum plate is offset by 1/8 to hold the sheet. I'd need to take off 1/8 on the long beams to make it all perfect... but it's okay for now.
