So I can change both setting with my 9600XT but when I go to play HL2 I can only play with DX9, why can't I change it to OpenGL? Just curious.
 
Because HL2 is coded in DX9, Doom 3 is coded in OpenGL, World of Warcraft is done in both I believe, etc, etc.
