Well,
After just receiving my replacement RMA motherboard from Abit, I'm wanting to revive my fallen system. I only have one possible problem. The processor is still somewhat infused to the heatsink due to my previous application of Arctic Silver 3. I was able to pull off the whole unit without even realizing it at first and I didn't bend nor break any pins. I'm merely a little concerned with attempting to reapply the unit to the new motherboard solely because I don't want to break the processor pins. I don't have any more thermal compound either or else this wouldn't even be an issue.
Anyone tried to merely reapply the processor like I'm thinking about doing? Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
