If you live in the state of Ohio, you should probably be worried that laptops come up missing quite a bit. Worse yet, the laptops usually belong to the city and state governments.

"State-owned and issued equipment is being misplaced or lost and stolen, and fundamentally that's not good," said Keith Dailey, a spokesman for Gov. Ted Strickland.

wow. Thats why you lock em up when not in use also they should get something like Lojack on their laptops. Hopefully they'll get back the laptops and give those thiefs a huge spanking :D

I hate to say it, but this is not uncommon. Laptop theft happens pretty often.

I don't live in the city, but I don't think I'll be taking my laptop to school. If I ever take it somewhere in public I always keep it with me, I can't understand why or how someone would leave their laptop unattended someplace it could get stolen. I did have my PSP and games stolen from me at school, but I will admit I left it in a classroom.

i don't live in ohio, but c'mon. don't leave the lappy sitting around and get a kensington lock for it. hell even my 37 inch westy has a hole for a kensington lock and i'm gonna use it :D
