Sorry if it's posted before but has there been an official release date announced for the 4870?
 
We've seen two dates: June 25 and July 8. No idea which is right but July 8 may be the date for wider availability.
 
From what I've heard, the official release date is tomorrow. But the boards will be in very very short supply. So a few may pop up tomorrow and sold out by the end of the day and backordered for weeks. If I understand it correctly tomorrow's release is more a paper launch with a few boards going up for sale. And that the real hard launch with plenty of stock is july 8th
