• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Off to a good start

It's not much, but I got a meager 156 points up, 5 WU's and 2 active CPUs within the past 2 days.
Today: My community college joins the [H]orde. :D
There is a rather large crop of P4 3.2 HT's with 2 gigs of PC3200 just waiting to be harvested to do their part for humanity.

Be sure to get permission before you borg PCs that don't belong to you... we don't want any bad publicity, nor do we want you to lose your job/education/etc :D

but if you can.. go for it!!!

keep in mind that those usually get reimaged every day/week. if you can get around that, go for it!

I'm going to try contacting the IT manager and see if they would be willing to do it. My guess is they will be leary about it unless I can prove it won't cause any problems.

One of the members was developing a PowerPoint Presentation... or at least a "here's how you can help, and BTW it's not a virus/spyware" It's been a few months since I've seen anything about it.... you may wanna search the forum and see what you can find....

to get around that, ask if you can set up a machine in a corner somewhere (or even put it in the lab) with folding on it, and if there are any problems with it (related to folding) you'll stop asking until the next version of f@h comes out. otherwise, f@h goes on the images! win-win (well, you win, and cancer patients win. what else is there?)
