I have my first SSD since 3 days, but after i asked some people, they said the benchmark values are really low.
What can i do ? I am on AHCI, no IDE/ SATA
Please give me some tips for SSD maintenance. I already disabled indexing searching, defragment, and about superfecth i don't know. Some people say disable it, others say, leave it alone.
What do i have to take care of ? Is it a good idea to move the Mozilla cache to HDD ? What about the pagefile ?
Please help me.
Thanks in advance

best way to fix that is to return it & buy a decent product since its only 3 days old. I had a Vertex 2 & after a it was always slow like what your seeing as well up until it just gave way.

But is not damaged, and maybe that could be a reasone fot them to say "No, we can't change the product"

its not damaged.. Its simple an OCZ Vertex 2 with less then stellar performance due to the spec's being inflated & OCZ changing the chips on the Vertex 2's without telling anyone to slower performing chips.

With ATTO it seems to be okay.
Now, which one is right ? ATTO or AS SSD ?

I don't think the SSD is damaged at all
But why the values are so different ?
Would that be a good idea ?

" Reset to Factory Spec (erase) to restore performance This step is necessary IF you have been using the SSD for a while before updating the firmware and/or want to return performance back to factory fresh (this will fix isues created if you ran 'tony-trim' method on another site). I did it right after the firmware update since it will ERASE the entire SSD, losing all data. It is called an ATA secure erase for a reason.
some of the firmware update tools do not issue the proper ATA secure erase command when they are done (Like the samsung), so the SSD will 'inherit' any performance issues it had before. Using this method resets all the memory cells to factory values "

What do you think ?
Thanks.

Yesterday i checked something in Disk Management.
Disk 0 - SSD with OS, Disk 1 and Disk 2 - D and E partitions - 2 HDD's
Today, Disk 0 is E, and my SSD as OS partition is Disk 2
Is that normal ?
LE: After i reboot, 3 minutes ago, Disk 0 is C - SSD, again.
I'm confused.
