OCZ Vertex 2 vs Agility 2

I've been reading reviews and watching prices on these two new SSD's and from what I can tell the difference is the number of IOPs that each one can do.

Vertex 2 - Random Write 4KB (Aligned): 50,000 IOPS
Agility 2 - Random Write 4KB (Aligned): 10,000 IOPS

My question is, what kind of programs are going to use the increased number of IOPs that the Vertex 2 can use? Is it worth the extra $20 for the increased number of IOPs?

Just off the top of my head one of them use the new sandforce controllers that is more expensive.

They actually both use the new sandforce 1200 controller.
