Ocing with 4400+ problems

Ok i have a DFI Lanparty UT SLI-DR mobo with the 4400+ (see sig)
i can run 2.4Ghz with stock voltage, but prime95 gets an error after like 6 hours
so i tried to raise the voltage some, but now my rig restarts after bout 1 min of stress testing... Unless im OCing the voltage wrong. temps are great full load at like 42c
Any help would be GREAT

When you tried to raise the voltage, you raised the CPU VID right? And how high did you raise it?
 
well my default cpu voltage is 1.26v... shouldnt it be 1.4v?
there are 2 options to change voltage
CPU VID Control and (1.0, 1.025, 1.050, etc)
CPU VID Special Control (Above VID * 104%, Above VID * 110%, etc)
Im guessing i should do the first of the 2 right, im going to set it to 1.4 like its supposed to be and see what happens....
 
yeah try setting the VID at like 1.3, and set the special at 104%.
 
y would i do that versus just setting VID to 1.4?
O and as you can tell im a newb to a64 ;)
what should i have the CPU VID StartUp Value set to?

ok i was running prime95 and RTHDRIBL, prime 95 got done 2 passes and the machine just restarted at vid at 1.4v. The temp was 48c on core.

Also as a side note do i need to plug in the moles and floppy power connector on ther motherboard also? or is that only for SLI??
