whats the diff between a 9600 and 9800XT is it just clockspeed or a different version of chip?
 
9600xt 4 pipelines, 128bit memory, core speed 500MHz, mem 600MHz

9800xt 8 pipelines, 256bit memory, core speed 412Mhz, mem 730MHz


if you can clock your 9600xt to around 900MHz core and 1500MHz on the memory.. it should outperform a 9800xt :p
