OC Question What Affect on Video?

I know next to nothing about overclocking and last night I went into my bios just to mess around a little and I cranked up my cpu 3% , it is default at 1%, I looked at cpuz and it showed the cpu at 2.94 and at default I think it was at 2.80 well I then ran 3Dmark6 and got a lot of strange video effects in two game test. My question is when I mess with the cpu can it affect the video?

likely the agp/pci express bus was not locked, thus the overclocking bumped those up as well. Try to tell us a bit more about your setup and we can further analyze it, but yes, overclocking can cause graphical anomalies.

Thanks arnemetis, It is an Asus 939 board and in bios it has a selection called Overclocking Profile and a drop down menu has 1%- 3%- 5% and more for the cpu so I selected 3% , I did not touch any other settings as I should have not been in their to begin with At first when I ran 3Dmark 06 I thought I had a couple of the funny cards that the 7900 series was having trouble with But up to this I have had no issues.
