Hi all

I am looking for some guidelines for overclocking my P4 2.4B. I am running it on an MSI 648 Max L mobo and an Award Bios.

I have tried the oc utility that came with the board, but only got to 2.5 with it. I have 512 DDR333 ram as well.

Thanks,

Ran into the same prob with my 2.4b on a dfi lp875, think it was a flaky pci bus lock
(drops sound and sata) so i just set the fsb to 166 and it booted np at 3ghz.
Even was 95% stable in 3d aps(would crash to desktop maybe once a week)
not bad for a chip pulled out of a gateway running at 1.475v :D
ps: a sparkle 530 psu solved the 3d stability issue
