Has anyone OCed their dual core processor? I have an Intel 3.0GHz dual processor and wanted to OC it. I have OCed single cores many times but wanted to know what is possible with a dual core.

Yes , obviously.

The only problem is if your cooling can handle it.You should try 233Mhz FSB ( the easiest to reach ) and see what temps you have. ( below 65C full load is a must ).Try small voltage adjustemnts , do not jump in 0.1V steps...
 
its easily Oc'able..
my specs are in the sig.
the temps b4 I oc'd the processor with my old zalman 7700 was idle at 54c.
now that I have the aquagate mini piece i oc'd it to 3.73 (x14 multiplier) and it idles lower at 42c. Full load does not exceed 60c. This processor is very hot...
