Odd question for you guys I want to make a switch to turn my fan controller on and off as i have it hooked to 4 white led fans and the 2 200mm blue led fans in the toip of my case and its kinda bright at night. So any ideas besides unplugging the molex connector completely from the controller any way i could add a simple switch in line and if so on what color wire would i need to splice into.

You would need to splice into the power wire(s) of the molex: red, yellow or both.

As stated above, it should be easy enough... Just put a switch in-line with the power input of the fan controller. I'm assuming it simply takes 12v in. So, put a switch on the yellow line, rated for at least 2x the amperage of your fans... Look for a switch rated for 3A or higher.
